Latest Development of BIM Technology and Practical Technology Seminar subjected in “Latest Development of BIM Technology and Case Study of Specific Practice” was held in Tieshan Hotel, Wuhu in early November. All staffs participating in BIM technology research attended the meeting.
The meeting stressed that BIM technology, as the focus of information technology development in “The 12th Five-Year Plan”, is gradually transiting from concepts to practices. China Railway Times Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd has introduced three-dimensional calculation software since October 2012. They can skillfully build three-dimensional models and complete amount of steel reinforcement, inventory engineering statistics and economic analysis through the model calculation. Through the learning process, technicians realize that three-dimensional model and project management can be combined to truly optimize construction plan and control the duration of projects. It will undoubtedly define our directions in BIM technology researches and guide our future business expansions.
